Fotografie voor Goed (Photography for Good) supports charities with the sale of photo prints, but also promotes Dutch photography talent. This time we raise money for Save the Children – the world's largest independent children's rights organization. They have one goal: to create irreversible change for and with children. The proceeds of the online printsale will be donated to aid for children in Gaza. Read more about the organization at www.savethechildren.nl

This campaign will run from September 28 to November 28, 2024. At the same time as the online print sale, there will be an exhibition and auction evening at Sociëteit de Kring in Amsterdam.

Online print sale

All photo prints cost €125,- including shipping costs within the Netherlands and are printed by our partner, fine art print specialist Fotolab Kiekie, giclée on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl paper, size 30 cm on the long side, without white border. All photo prints are delivered unsigned, without certificate, and are available in unlimited editions, as long as the campaign is running.

Proceeds

In the online print sale, the proceeds of every photo print sold go to charity. This amounts to €65 to €90 per photo, depending on the fee for the photographer. This can vary per photo - the photographer decides this himself. Some photographers donate their photo, others ask for a minimal fee.

By purchasing a beautiful photo print by a Dutch photographer, you support the organization Save the Children and their important humanitarian work, but at the same time you support Dutch photography talent.

Exhibition & auction evening

The photos available in the online print sale can also be seen in a special exhibition in Sociëteit de Kring in Amsterdam, from September 28 to November 28, 2024. Larger versions are hanging here - beautiful satin photo prints, glued to an aluminum frame, 50 cm longest side.

You can bid on these unique prints, edition 1 of 1, at a festive auction evening on Thursday 28 November 2024, from 20:30, at the Kring society in Amsterdam. The auction will be led by occasional auctioneer and former Photographer of the Fatherland Jan Dirk van den Burg. The proceeds of the auction will go to Save the Children.

Fotolab Kiekie

All photo prints are giclée printed by our partner Fotolab Kiekie, a Hahnemühle Certified Studio for Fine Art Printing in Amsterdam.

When can I expect my order?

The photo prints printed & sent every two weeks. Fotolab Kiekie will print and ship at the beginning and middle of each month.

Participation

The Fotografie voor Goed 2024 II collection has been carefully curated to form a mix of well-known names and emerging talent. Participation is by invitation only.

 

However, you can always register for future participation - send an email to caspar@gmail.com with a link to your work. It doesn't matter whether you are a novice or have been an active photographer for some time, but you must be involved in photography professionally. You will only receive a message when you are invited to participate. That could also be a year later, during a future action.
